The College vision, Mission, and targets
After obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research - Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up in accordance with its letter numbered (M3/T/5951) and dated: 4/9/2019, the College of Science was established in accordance with the university order issued by Al-Qasim Green University, numbered ( 4611) dated: 9/11/2019, and it included two departments: the Life Sciences Department and the Pathological Analysis Department. The college received accepted students for the 2019-2020 academic year. The total number of students accepted centrally was (116) male and female students, while the number of registered students was (83) male and female students, with (40) male and female students in the Life Sciences Department, and (43) male and female students in the Pathological Analysis Department.
The college seeks to prepare specialists in the fields of science and knowledge and provide them with the necessary capabilities to continue research and keep pace with the tremendous development in the field of scientific research and technology, in addition to spreading the culture of creativity in the field of basic sciences and being open to society’s requirements and meeting its needs.
Through its departments, the college aspires to prepare scientific research plans and encourage strategic projects, in addition to its activities in establishing cooperation and knowledge exchange relations with scientific institutions by participating in local and international conferences and seminars in order to create opportunities for college teachers to exchange experiences and the results of experiments and research.
Recent developments in science and various academic fields have led to increased interest in the principles and standards of comprehensive quality, and the issue of quality assurance and attention has become at all levels in order to bring graduates to the level of internationally recognized standards and to be able to compete locally and globally.
In order to ensure the continuity of distinguished education, the college has adopted a comprehensive quality assurance system and international standards in all its educational, research and other activities to ensure the provision of high-quality academic programs and obtain excellence in this field.
